Prob my valuable and sentimental record is an old Studio One Showcase LP pressed in Jamaica that I bought brand new when I was about 18, c0over is a bit worn but vinyl is still good despite lots of plays.
Got a lot of old Jamaican 45s, some old original James Brown, Bowie, Floyd LPs amongst my collection too.

A friend of mine is well in the frame for the London Darrell Banks 45.

Up until yesterday evening, he was the lead bidder on Manship's site at £11,200, but has now been outbid so will wait until just before the auction closes on December 21st to see what level the bids are at before deciding whether to go back in or not...

My rarest one would be Throbbing Gristle's Second Annual Report (original Industrial Records vinyl from '77). Sadly it is in shit condition, with none of the inserts.

I've got Bowie 'Man Who Sold The World' dress cover original pressing. Minimum £200, have heard £1,000 but doubt it. Excellent condition. No point selling it, I don't need the money.

Chip Shop Charlie 9:59 Mon Dec 15

i have the same album (don't know what it's with tho). also have an original copy of alice cooper band album 'pretties for you' . apparently only 100 copies released before it was recalled to have a brown strip printed across the picture of the girl showing her knickers (usa circa 1969 must have been very prudish!)

a collector offered me $500 a few years ago but didn't sell.

Re: Rare records
I had a massive collection of 7" vinyl including loads of rare shit. Gave it all to my godson back in the 80s as he was trying to set himself up as a DJ (and I was just too fucking lazy to be getting up to change a record every 3 minutes).

His attempts didn't work out and I've no idea where the records ended up.
